The Aquamot Trend 1.3 and 1.8 may appear to offer similar advantages to the Trend 1.1 and 1.6. However, this is only at first glance, as the outboard motor features a crucial upgrade. It is currently the most powerful electric outboard motor with an integrated battery on the market. It also has a lot to offer in terms of design. As part of a redesign, the housing was revised by international designers in 2020. In combination with a sophisticated, incrementally tiltable suspension system, the Trend 1.3 & 1.8 is the perfect choice if you are looking for a motor with added value.

Trend outboard motor, Tiller S
The Trend 1.8 features a profiled shaft design that significantly improves steering response. Depending on requirements, there are three shaft lengths: S, L & XL for an extra charge (€ 109). The Trend 1.8 with tiller control and S-shaft comes with a 63 cm shaft length and weighs 14.2 kg. The tiller is also height-adjustable and locks in recurringly after a defined distance. A tiller extension with a length of 65 cm is available for an additional charge (€ 89).

The Trend 1.8 comes with a profiled shaft design that significantly improves steering behavior. Depending on your needs, three shaft lengths are available: S, L & XL at an additional cost (€109). The Trend 1.8 with tiller control and L-shaft comes with a 75 cm shaft length and weighs 14.6 kg. The tiller is also height-adjustable and repeatedly locks into place after a defined travel. When using the 1,560 Wh battery, the driving time doubles.
How can the range or operating time be increased?
By using a second reserve battery, the range can be extended in no time at all. Remove the empty battery, insert the full one, and off you go. These are available at Aquamot at a reasonable price (€0.93 per Wh).
How safe is the Aquamot Trend 1.8 Outboard Motor?
Of course, it is absolutely safe. On the one hand, the emergency stop lanyard protects against unintended operation, and on the other hand, the BMS is equipped with all redundant protective functions, such as protection against over- & undervoltage, short circuits, over- & undertemperature, etc. 8 years after the manufacturing date, the battery must be inspected at an Aquamot Service Center to ensure your safety 100%.
What is included with the Aquamot Trend 1.8 Outboard Motor?
With a drive package from Trend 1.3 – 1.8 you are basically ready to go. From the highly efficient motor including propeller with on-board computer and driving switch to the lithium high-performance battery, charger, emergency stop tear-off cord & anode, everything is included.
How long is the warranty period?
The warranty period is 2 years.
